Gradually, more and more people are becoming aware of the plight of the largest religious minority in Iran - the Baha’is.  Prominent Iranians throughout the world have voiced their dismay at the persecution of a group of people who believe in peaceful and progressive principles, such as the oneness of humankind, the equality of women and men, universal education, the harmony of science and religion and the elimination of all forms of prejudice…  A people who’s life is characterized by rendering service to one’s community and of building bonds of unity beginning with the family circle and broadening to one’s neighborhood, region, nation, and all the peoples of the world.  It is a Faith whose adherents have come from all faiths, cultural, racial and social-economic backgrounds.  A community that now currently represents a microcosm of the world.

In this short video, Sovaida Ma’ani Ewing, author of “Collective Security”, gives a summary of the current persecution of the Baha’is in Iran.  Please pass this along to others.
